Littleton Common Overlay District Forum - June 17th. The “Littleton Common Overlay District Forum” was held on June 17, 2009 at the Littleton Middle School, hosted by the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen, and facilitated by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council. Russell Street School Repairs: $13.4-Million project; Town share $7.2-million. May 9, 2009 Annual Town Election voters approved the debt exclusion ballot question for Russell Street School repairs by an overwhelming margin. May 4, 2009 Town Meeting voters had earlier approved $13.4-million for repairs to the Russell Street School. Town share $7.2-million, with 47.84% in eligible project costs paid by the Massachusetts School Building Authority. Read more

Goldsmith Street reconstruction. On December 1, 2008, the Board of Selectmen voted to authorize execution of the funding agreement with MassHighways for the reconstruction of Goldsmith Street by the State. On June 26, 2008, the State had approved $4.2-million in Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) funds for this project. Read more
