| Meeting Highlights: 8/25/08: Transfer Station Fee increases approved; presentation on Agricultural proposal made. 7/14/08: Established a seven-member Sign By-law Review Committee. Applications sought from local citizens and business owners. 6/23/08: the Board of Selectmen held a public hearing and adopted goals for FY 2009. 3/10/08: To address the condition of local roads in Littleton, the Board of Selectmen voted on March 10, 2007 to support an $8-million roadway improvement plan, which would be funded inside the property tax levy limit, without any overrides of Proposition 2 1/2. 11/19/07: the Selectmen held the FY 2008 property tax rate classification hearing, and voted to maintain the split between residential and commercial property. The Selectmen also approved a conceptual plan for reorganizing Town Hall office space on the second and third floors, making space available for the Council on Aging. |
