LFD Apparatus - Engine 1 - 1996 Spartan/3D Engine 1 is a 1996 Spartan/3D rescue pumper with a 1250 GPM pump, a 1000 gallon water tank, and a 20 gallon Class A foam tank. It is powered by a Cummings turbo diesel engine and an Allison electronic automatic transmission and seats 6 personnel, 5 with SCBA. It has a top-mount pump panel, pre-piped and demountable deck guns, and carries 1500' of 4" hose, 500' of 2-1/2" hose, and 450' of 1-3/4" hose. It is first due to all motor vehicle accidents, rescues and vehicle fires. It also responds to structure fires as the third due engine when a working fire is declared.
