LFD Apparatus - Ladder 2 - 1988 Seagrave

Ladder 2 is a 1988 Seagrave heavy duty 110' aerial ladder powered by a Detroit Diesel 8V92 Silver Series 475 horsepower turbo-equipped engine and an Allison HT740 automatic transmission. It carries a wide variety of firefighting, forcible entry and hand tools including a 6000 PSI cascade/air bottle filling station, rescue rope, special chimney fire equipment, many salvage covers, and over 160' of ground ladders. Its ladder pipe is capable of flowing 1000 gallons of water per minute. This 66,000 lb. truck can seat 6 firefighters in SCBA in addition to the driver. It also carries 4 extra SCBA sets mounted in high-side compartments for quick donning.
